If you’ve come looking for a defibrillator, then you have come to right place. We are the UKs only independent provider of AEDs from all major manufacturers.

With over 10 years experience in the industry, defibshop prides itself on providing customers with friendly impartial advice so that you can find the right defibrillator that suits your budget, environment and level of training.

A defibrillator, combined with the administration of lifesaving CPR, is the only form of treatment for someone who has suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Having an AED on site means you are as prepared as possible to help save a life.

Choosing the right defibrillator

When you’re ready to purchase a defibrillator, there are many elements to consider which factor into which device is best for you. Will it be used outside/inside? Is it likely to get wet? How much AED training do you have? Does it need to be easily transportable?

All defibrillators come with an IP rating which indicates how well protected they are against dust particles and how water resistant they are. Some defibrillators are basic and easy to use, others have added functions like ECG monitors and CPR Advisors.

For protection to the patient, all defibrillators come equipped with a safeguard which means that once the electrode pads are attached and the device has monitored the patient’s heart rate, if they don’t need electro shock therapy, the defibrillator will not allow it to be administered.

When you purchase a defibrillator, there should be no doubt in your mind that you doing the right thing. You are helping protect the lives of the people around you by being as prepared as possible for someone suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.

We do however recommend you take part in one of our AED training courses to help you better understand defibrillators in general and the unit you are purchasing to boost your confidence and knowledge of the equipment.
